Do you have orange juice in the morning? Fancy adding one more step and making it a super healthy OJ?
Simply pour it into a measuring jug (about 200ml, with 200ml water), add a nice BIG handful of baby spinach (and the juice of a lime) and blend with a hand blender. C'est toute. Now pour in a glass & drink. It'll be a nice vivid green, but taste pretty much the same. Greens in a glass. Genius.
For the next step in green smoothiness, you can just play around with flavours and see what suits you, but it's basically the same process of mix, blend and pour. Here's our favourite one at home.
BIG handful of spinach (or rocket for a spicy kick)
1/2 mango, peeled and chopped
1 banana, peeled and chopped
1/2 avocado, peeled & chopped
1 lime (juice)
200ml of orange or apple juice (not from concentrate varieties, like innocent or copella)
Layer it up and either use a hand blender or blender to mix it well.
